A game publisher known for flooding the PlayStation Store with more than 900 low-quality titles has issued a farewell message to its players after being removed from the platform. The company, which specialized in releasing what many call "shovelware" -- cheap, quickly made games often used to pad trophy collections -- confirmed that Sony has ended their partnership.

"As a result of these new guidelines and their incompatibility with our business model, PlayStation has decided not to continue its partnership," the company said in a statement. The publisher had built a reputation for releasing dozens of games per month, many of which were simple asset flips or minimal-effort experiences that sold for a few dollars each.
