The Paley Center for Media in New York City has launched a limited-time exhibition honoring 45 years of Pac-Man, the iconic yellow arcade character that changed video game history. The exhibit, now open to the public, traces the journey of the maze-chomping hero from its 1980 debut to its lasting influence on pop culture and digital entertainment.

Visitors can explore original arcade cabinets, rare promotional materials, and design documents that show how a simple circle with a missing wedge became a global phenomenon.
